Low, spreading bushes of neat grey foliage are absolutely covered in late spring with many heads of little rosy-pink flowers. Likes a sunny site and good drainage. About 20cm (8") high, slowly spreading mounds.
One of my favourites; I was first given this plant as a handful of stems torn from a plant in the garden of a late friend. She rated this plant highly and so do I. It also has an AGM so the Royal Horticultural Society like it as well.
This had a name-change several years ago - it was Ptilotrichum - thank goodness they changed it back to Alyssum, but you might still see it listed as this.
