Tight silvery pads, short pink flower heads in spring.
Very compact pads of grey leaves becoming silvery in spring as the pink buds begin to appear - as shown in this image. The little fluffy flower heads, dark pink in spring, are held nicely above the above the foliage on 2 or 3" stems (about 7cm) .
An easily grown but very neat and tidy little plant suited to a trough or other special place. Likes sun and a free-draining soil.
