Small succulent bushes with heads of pink flowers.
Grows as small, gnarled, succulent-leaved bushes, topped in summer with large heads of rosy pink flowers. Amazingly hardy for a succulent plant, even here in Scotland, especially in a dry position. Must have full sun and excellent drainage such as from a gritty or sandy soil.
It roots easily from short stems kept in an airy, dryish postion with minimal watering so it's easy to keep an emergency plant or two as backup against a severe winter.
The flowers are strongly scented, often quoted as "honey scented", but it is certainly strong.
