Widely regarded as the best red-flowered Aubrietia, Bressingham Red also has a neat, compact habit. Flowers profusely in April and May and is a good alternative to all the blue/purple/lilac forms. About 10cm (4") high.
Like all Aubrieta it likes sunshine and a free-draining soil that isn't too acidic. The plants may be cut back soon after flowering if you want to keep them neat and tidy.
Yet another fine plant raised at Bressingham in Norfolk.
