A Sempervivum tectorum cultivar with stout, hard, glossy rosettes. As summer develops, so does the colour on Sunset - pale green leaf bases tipped with glowing orange tones.
Like all Houseleeks it needs full sun, perfect drainage and a sparse diet to perform best - but Sunset is a reliable, weather-resistant garden plant thanks to its smooth, glossy leaves that don't hold the rain. Recommended and one of our all-time favourites - it was actually in the very first lot of named Semps I bought all those years ago and I still love it.
