Fresh green clumps of leaves produce heads of lovely rosy crimson flowers with white centres in spring. The flowers have a strong, rich fragrance. About 10 - 12cm (4" or 5") high.
We find this one of the easier pubescens Primulas - the foliage seems to repel winter rain and the plant is robust and hardy making it a good garden plant, but dainty enough for a trough etc. Our plants stand out all winter in little pots and they still flower away every spring.
