Clear, bright yellow flowers on deep green bushes.
Bright, golden-yellow flowers which stand out over broad, dark green foliage.
The habit is neater than many and it forms a nice mound. Recommended. About 20cm (8") high.
An old variety, presumably raised near the town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders. Roxburgh Castle, long demolished, was once an important stronghold and changed hands between the English and Scots several times. We're friends now!
The name 'Roxburgh' survives in the hamlet of the same name, the county of Roxburghshire, the dukedom of Roxburghe (with an 'e') and in this humble little Rock Rose.
