A stunning golden foliage plant. The summer flowers are also golden but almost eclipsed by the foliage (the bees still find them; they love them!). The winter foliage colour is much darker; almost coppery bronze, depending on where and how it is grown.
It likes, indeed, must have, very poor, well-drained soil to show its best. It will thrive and spread well if overfed but also become lank and pale green.
This can sometimes be a difficult plant for us to wrap up well for packing - the shoots are brittle and fall off easily. Don't worry, simply place any loose pieces around the plant after planting and they will root themselves without attention.
