Primula x forsteri 'Dianne'

A lovely plant in early spring as the neat mounds of deeply toothed whorls of leaves start to develop and encase the fat flower buds - as pictured here. The flowers eventually open wide into nice heads of rosy, cerise-pink with white centres, held on short 7cm (3") stems.

We find it easy to grow and it keeps itself neat. Also makes a very nice trough plant or can be tucked between stones on the rock garden.
