A dwarf, spreading Birch, golden leaves in autumn.
A very dwarf form of Birch tree which grows as a low, spreading mound. Ideal for adding that 'sense of scale' to a rock garden that all the books recommend. It also lends itself to use for bonsai. The leaves turn golden yellow in autumn.
The main photo' looks like it should be turned 90 degrees - but no, that's how the plant grows!
