This Alpine Snowbell is a classy little alpine producing dainty little 'fairy hats' in spring on erect stems over mats of rounded, glossy leaves. About 15cm (6") high.
Soldanella are often said to be a bit of a challenge but we find 'Spring Symphony' grows well here, without fuss and this hybrid is easier than the true species. The usually recommended conditions are a free-draining, humus-rich soil, perhaps with some dappled shade. It does enjoy moisture. It is very hardy and will flower through the snow.
