Absolutely stunning dark leaves, very deep purple and almost black. Especially large rosettes with broad leaves help it make the boldest of statements. Shows blackest in spring but the more purple summer colour is special too and with watermarks for added interest. Photographs don't do it justice - black isn't easy to capture.

A very special plant, named by the breeder after his son.
