Mid-green rosettes with fat leaves, strongly tipped with reddish brown in spring.
Now, let me say ..... Normally I 'dislike' Semps that produce new plants on long stems. Over the years we have discarded/quietly dropped cultivars with this trait but 'Karola' is so bad, it's good!
Stems can be up to 20 cm (8") in length but when the plants are grown the new rosettes can trail or hang. It reminds me of the 'Mother of Thousands' houseplants (Saxifraga stolonifera) that every home seemed to have hanging in a window. Usually in a Macrame hanger, but that was the1970s for you.
We only send these out when they are neat, usually before they send out new stems. They're a 'mare to wrap up otherwise.
