A very neat-growing variety. Pale, greyish rosettes swell quickly in spring and develop a very rich, plummy colour with a soft, matt effect and with tufts of silvery hairs on the leaf tips. It's a very nice effect.
Another of our all-time favourites from one of our favourite breeders and it does exceedingly well here.
Bred by David T. Ford (UK) 1972
