A popular variety, 'Crispyn' makes stout, flattened clumps of rosettes with broad leaves, these a good dark red, especially in spring but lasting well into autumn. The leaves are also edged with little silver hairs.
There are two versions of 'Crispyn', this is the more common Belgian form.
