King Alfred

Dark brown leaf tips, the colour of burnt cakes - from history (or folklore), King Alfred is said to have allowed the cakes to burn. Very dark colouring overall in autumn and winter, leaf bases more olive-green in summer but retaining the dark tips. Medium in size.
