Sassy Frass

An interesting blend of colours with pink and yellow tones, even peach colours, that change and vary with the seasons and growing conditions. More dark pink at the start of the season moving through to more yellow and tan shades as summer progresses.

The name is a take on an American tree, the Sassafras tree, which has an interesting history. The bark of the root was used to flavour that peculiarly American soft drink, root beer (hence the name) but all parts of the tree were (are) used for almost every use imaginable - look it up!
