'Procton' has medium-sized rosettes with dark, olive-green leaves near the base and with prominent dark tips, almost black at times. In fact, those dark leaf tips are the star attraction, they look so good.
As with nearly all Sempervivum, the colours change with the seasons, stages of growth, feeding etc., but 'Procton' looks good all year round. An uncommon but good and attractive variety and one we are fond of.
Breeder unknown. We received this many years from the now closed Sempervivum Nursery who once had a wonderful range.
